Effective from February 1st, 2008 :

Article 1 : Regular Members 
A minimum level of Open Water Diver (CMAS * or equivalent) is required. 
Are considered Regular Members, individual divers who participated to more than 2 TED diving trips and answer to TED Insurance and Administrative requirements. 
Under Regular Member status, divers will be informed automatically of any TED activity and benefit of all TED advantages. 

Article 2 : Regular Members Registration
To register Regular Members candidates simply need to send an email to any TED Bureau staff providing their contact details. A confirmation will be provided shortly. No membership fee is required. 

Article 3 : Membership Renewal
Membership is automatically renewed every calendar year unless a cancellation notice is provided. Regular Members may be asked to provide a proof of renewal of their insurance coverage.

Article 4 : Compulsory Diving Insurance Requirements
Regular Members participating to TED diving  trips must be covered by DAN Japan Diving Insurance (or any diver insurance coverage deemed equivalent by TED bureau). 
DAN Japan provides an international coverage for a yearly 5,000 jpy (death, medical and rescue). DAN Japan Insurance Coverage can be contracted online at :

Article 5 : Safe Diving Statement
For each trip, divers must fill and sign "PADI  Standard Safe Diving Practices Statement of Understanding ". A blank form will be provided on the day of the trip.
