A quick reminder : the deadline for Sado (Oct 17-18) is this Friday (Sep 18). There are currently 15 potential participants to the trip : myself x2, Nico sensei, Jerome, Noel, Aki, Pat x2,Muriel/JF x4, Benoit x2 and a few minutes ago Rejan.

I am currently in the process of developping a very complex calculus algorithm to scientifically evaluate how much it is going to cost for divers and non divers, based on a shared expense for the transportation. Unless everyone cancels before tomorrow, we will be close to what was paid last year.
A little note on the payment: once dives and accomodations are confirmed I will give you the individual price and ask to make a front-payment of around 20 000 / person. An additionnal payment will be asked the day we depart, and we will adjust at the end of the trip.

Please lock your agenda for a wonderful diving week-end in the breath-taking scenery of Kumomi!
 
Departure: 5:45am Sat. Dec. 13th 2008 (either Yotsuya or Meguro)
 
Sat: 1 morning boat dive, lunch, 1 afternoon boat dive, diner, fireworks if weather permits
Sun: 2 morning boat dives, lunch, on the way back onsen
Return: Sunday Dec. 14th 2008, late evening
 
All diving level accepted (from OW and above), under the conditions of showing BOTH Padi certification card AND DAN card (mandatory personal insurance). If you do not have the DAN card, you will not dive with us!
 
Forecasted expenses (maximum): please refer to forum
 
Please reply NOT later than Nov. 30th with the following mandatory information set:
- diving level
- nber of participants (adults, children with their respective ages to get discounted prices for accomodation)
- car if any and number of available seats
- gear rental (Reg, BCD with size, wet suit with size, shoes, gloves, weights...)
 
Please keep in mind that we are under the car seat availability constraint to define the number of participants. Consequently, first to reply, first to be registered!

Because of the limited number of seats,  please provide me your confirmation by September 12th at the latest (for persons that did not contact me already.  Please let me also know if you can come with your car.

Located in Niigata Prefecture and on the Japan Sea is a paradise for cameraman. September and October are the best season because of the visibility (20m range) and sea temperature (23 degrees/wet suit). Kobudai groups  can be seen anytime and are quite friendly. October is also the season for Giant Echizen Jelly Fish. "Amateurs" of sea-slugs will be fully satisfied...

Depending on diver's request and level we may change of site on Sunday (Tago's boat diving or IDA). However, I confirm the BBQ will be there.

All levels welcome. We will not accept persons not having a DAN Insurance. When confirming your presence please let me have your DAN  number (not necessary if you already did it).

SORRY, WE ARE FULL!

Following our meting on May 10th, I do confirm our diving trip to Kumomi on June 14th-June 15th. Due to some work assignments, our beloved Instructor, Nicolas will not be with us.
 
Due to huge liability risks, I will not accept registration of any person, without his DAN JAPAN number at the time of his email reply. This personal insurance is mandatory for any diver, it costs 5000 yens per year and it covers all associated costs dealing with diving risks in Japan and worldwide.
 
Departure: Saturday morning (6am)
2 dives on Saturday
1 or 2 dives on Sunday
Return: Sunday evening
Lodging: Family hotel at Kumomi (4300 yens per person)
Food: upon each person, except BBQ diner organized by the dive center (2000 yens per person)
 
Depending on the number of people and due to Nicolas' absence, we might be required to get another diving guide to be paid, on the top of the TED free-of-charge dive master(s). This might represent a small surcharge to the diving costs.
 
Before MAY 29th -strict deadlines (hotel may be full), let me know:
- your wish to come
- your level (OW, AOW, CMAS...)
- Your DAN JAPAN number (see TED Website link)
- the number of persons joining you if any
- the seat availability in your car if any
